GERMANY – Sophie-Scholl-Berufskolleg

For us, inclusion means above all appreciation and recognition of diversity

“It is normal to be different.”
Richard von Weizsäcker, former Federal President

For us, good school inclusion means that lessons are designed in such a way that all students find a learning opportunity in which they can develop their potential in the technical, methodological and social areas. We pay attention to individualization in lessons by offering a differentiated offer in terms of time, scope, level and support.

Learning together in diversity and developing an inclusive learning and school culture are an enrichment for all of our students. At our vocational college, individuality is a lived norm. The diversity of the students is used to get to know and deal with different perspectives and needs.

“Our diversity is our strength. What a boring and meaningless life would be if everyone were the same.”
Angelina Jolie

“Many different flowers make a bouquet.”
Islamic proverb
